OUR VALUES
WHY CHOOSE US?
A unique taste
We harvest our prized PGI nectarines of Romagna at the optimal time of maturation, thus guaranteeing an unmistakable taste thanks to our experience as peach growers.
The innovation
We use biological means of defence against harmful insects, which together with the installation of photoselective nets ensure the quality of our production.
We have always been very careful about saving water: two collection tanks allow us to store at least 22,000 litres of rainwater, thus avoiding drawing it from aqueducts or wells.
From the heart of Romagna,
industrial cultivation of peach trees was born between the late 19th and early 20th century in the Province of Ravenna. In 1898, Giuseppe Gianstefani planted the first 3 hectares of peach orchards of the Buco Incavato variety, about a decade later, in 1904, Adolfo Bonvicini planted 10 hectares for trial purposes. Such was the stubbornness with which Bonvicini dedicated himself to the crop, tackling its first problems, that before long all the farmers in the area followed his example. Thus the Romagna Peach farming was born
